MIDI noise bleed

I have a GT/22 connected to an Axe-Fx III.

Enabling Poll State and/or Send Realtime Sysex, results in audible ticking noise. Disabling both params make the noise disappear.

I have tried different power supplies, exchanged 6-pin XLR for regular 5-pin MIDI (separate cables or bidirectional), ruled out other possible causes.

Any ideas to solve this noise bleed?
