Hello everyone!
As i have received my GT22 and finalised my rig, i think it is ready to show.
So for my pedalboard.
I am running a RJM GT22 (best thing ever)
I never use this page 1, i'm always on page 3 where i have the setlists running (I'm in a medley band, so lots of songs/changes)
Running a boss tuner with power from the GT and a Harley Benton talkbox for the Bon Jovi stuff.
The GT22 is controlling the Voodoolab GCX, Kemper Profiler and the Digitech Whammy as i only use it for the drop side and it is Midi controlled so really handy!
(This was the simple part of the rig ahahaha)
My rack contains the following items (From top to bottom)
- 2 2u racks for spare cables and picks/capo's etc.
- Mike Hill 4 input guitar switch (Lovely and not to pricey, i was using a fender ABY before but having a backup wireless and a cable option for rehearsing is ideal)
- Drawer with a digitech Whammy and a Fishman Aura Spectrum DI (Which i use in quite an odd way)
- Sennheiser G3 backup for when i break a string on my main guitar.
- Another drawer for guitar strings, cleaning stuff and lots of gaffa tape.
- Voodoolab GCX for switching between my magnetic pickups and Fishman Powerbridge in an ES335.
- Kemper Profiler (We play alot of festivals with quick setup and breakdown times so having an all in 1 rack was kinda a must, also no tubes dying is quite nice and just the confidence that it will work is worth alot for what i need and use it for)
- Shure SLXD14E Wireless
- Cable Storage, powerconditioner and patch bay.
So the signal chain is as following:
- Shure and Sennheiser Wireless --> Mike Hill Input Switcher
- Y split cable running from my ES335 with stereo outputjack into the Voodoolab GCX splitting the signal:
1: Fishman Powerbridge into the Fishman Aura Spectrum DI --> Foh
2: Magnetic Pickups --> Mike Hill Input Switcher
- Input switcher --> Pedalboard and back into the Kemper Profiler.
The amazing Hans (Guitar tech for Billie Joe Armstrong from Greenday helped me alot through instagram to copy Jason White his acoustic rig with the Fishman Powerbridge) I need to switch alot between acoustic sounds to electric so this was the best option for me and it sounds really good!
And last but not least a small guitar vault for 5 guitars, have to leave 2 spots open for the bassist and other guitarist sadly but for this week the choice is a Epiphone ES335 Figured Tea Burst with the Fishman Powerbridge.
Epiphone 2005 Les Paul Customshop.
Gibson 2016 Les Paul Standard.
But the Les Pauls change every week ahaha.
And now my girlfriend is asking questions why we haven't moved out yet whoops!
*Small Edit* I'd like to say a big big big thank you to the RJM Team, the bottom left screen is having a hard time and the customer support has been more then excellent so Mario thank you again for your help!
Thank you for reading and if you have questions feel free to ask them!
