[NEVER MIND] LSB / MSB

I combine the GT with an Axe-Fx and the BandHelper app on my iPad.

To get access to higher banks on the GT, I have to instruct BandHelper to send the LSB, instead of the MSB.

Is that by design?

I ask this because the Axe-Fx uses the MSB for this.

The way that the MIDI soec says it's supposed to work is:

Bank Number = (MSB x 128) + LSB
where MSB and LSB are in the range 0..127

So, a device that has less than 128 banks would only use LSB. Some devices that have limited numbers of banks (including some of our earlier ones) use MSB only, but it's not really standard. i decided to follow the spec this time.

Hmm, weird, I had it working fine, but now I can't reach the higher banks on the MMGT anymore.

Using the BandHelper app on my iPad and a Roland UM-One, connected to MIDI IN on the MMGT.

I'm sending 0 (MSB) - 2 (LSB) - xx (PC) to the MMGT, to switch between presets above 256. MIDI is working fine. However, the GT won't switch to bank 3, and selects presets in bank 1 (0-127) instead. I checked all settings on the MM<GT and all seem fine?

Ideas?
