Presets not correctly loaded - what am I doing wrong?

I programmed a couple of presets and here's what's not working:
Preset #8 "Action"
When selecting this preset:
- Preset #057 is loaded on the Axe-Fx instead of #056 as programmed
- Not the local page is shown but page #1 of the button tab
When pressing "Preset Menu":
It doesn't show the page with preset #8 but the page with preset #57 and this one is selected.
When navigating to the page with preset #8 "Action" and selecting it:
- I set Filter1 off - it's on
- I set Trem2 on - it's off
Next I want to load the next preset #9 "All Right Now"
- Preset #3 "Mid Gain is selected"
- Again not the local page is shown but page #1 of the button tab
When navigating to the page with preset #8 "Action" and selecting it:
- The local page is loaded

Clearly I must be doing something wrong but for the life of me I can't figure out what.

I figured out that for setting the initial state of the preset you can one of two things:
- Program it in the "Preset Actions"
- Set the state by clicking on the buttons in the editor
Is this correct?

I figure I must have done something wrong by not selecting Axe-Fx Slave Mode
When changing this, according to the manual I have to " reassign all IA buttons using the Set Default Buttons or Assign Buttons functions. Each button has to be updated to its new settings."
I can't find anywhere to do this.
Also, what does the "Display preset's default page" do in the editor. It's not in the manual.

I solved the first problem by setting AXe-Fx to slave.
But then the state of the IA's doesn't get updated.

"DIsplay preset's default page" means: when you select a preset in the left column, the virtual GT display in the bottom right will automatically switch to the page that is specified within the preset (the Show Page parameter).

If "Display preset's default page" is not turned on, then the virtual GT display will not change pages when you switch from preset to preset.

This setting only affects the editor's behavior within the Presets tab. The "Auto Page Select" checkbox on the Globals page performs a similar function on the GT itself.

Oh, OK. Thanks.
I'm finding more and more stuff and it's working better all the time.
