Setting an Exact Tempo without Tapping

I was wondering if it’s possible to set a tempo manually on the GT16 without tapping. The reason being is if I have a saved loop on my RC-600 looper of a pre-recorded loop that was recorded at say 158bpm, I would want to set my tempo manually on my GT16 to 158 so that when I play the loop it won’t sound all garbled due to it being tempo shifted from its original 158 tempo. I want to control the tempo through the GT16 and I like having it be the tap tempo “master”, but I find trying to tap it to an exact tempo number isn’t easy when I want to use an already recorded loop on my looper.
 
Yes, for sure. You can specify different tempos for each preset, or you can add a System / BPM action to any button. Either will let you set any tempo you like. This works better if you use MIDI clock, but you can also do it using CCs by using the Auto Tap feature.
