Several Axe Fx II's

You can use more than one, but only one will be able to communicate back to the GT. This communication includes the tuner display and the Axe's ability to update each IA button to tell it whether it's on, off or disabled. This isn't really a big problem - you can still get good functionality out of a second unit.

I was thinking about adding a second Axe on the same midi channel. That way whe n I activate scene 4 on Axe 1, Axe 2 will also go to scene 4. I guess once we get page per preset I could just set that up manually and have the flexibility to have one Axe on scene 2 and the other on scene 8 etc.

With scenes, I have not been using IAs for individual FX. Makes life much easier.

Yes, you can control scenes using the GT, and as you suggest, you could set them to the same channel and have them work in sync, or assign them to different channels and have independent control of each.
