Stereo Input?

How will the stereo Input function when your first loop is mono?

Curious weather it will be assignable like an A/B switch, per patch? Thanks!
 
There's a pushbutton switch next to the Input 7-10 jack. When set to mono, the signal going into the Input 7-10 jack - or the mono signal coming from loop 6 if there's nothing plugged into Input 7-10 - will be sent to both the left and right sides. If the pushbutton switch is depressed, switching it to stereo, Input 7-10 is treated as a TRS stereo input. This isn't an assignable feature.
 
So if nothing is connected to output 5-6 and input 7-10 the unit will automatically bridge the signal from loop 6 to loop 7? Feeling mighty stupid then, because I made jumper patch cables from ouput 1-4 to input 5-6 and from output 6 to input 7-10. Cheers
