Troubles with Effects loop

Hi there. I just got my Rg 16 patched in and tried to put a group of pedals into the fx loop of my dual rectifier via the rg 16. I used the following wiring diagram to patch it in http://www.rjmmusic.com/wiring/RG-16/RG ... -2Mono.pdf

The prob is that I'm not getting any effect coming through except for one. With some when I switch on the effect I get no sound. I'm sure I'm just missing something small.

Thanks in advance.

If you get dry sound through the RG-16 with no problem, and can get sound through some effects but not others, then I'd check your cables first. Swap in some new cables, and also try the pedals in different loops to see if anything changes.

If you give me a more detailed description of how everything is connected, I might be able to give you some more specific help.

I conected it exactly the same as the wiring guide that I put in my first post. Is that right? I'm only new to these types of set ups. I'm using and I love it already!

Cheers

If you connected things exactly like the diagram, which loops are working and which aren't? What exactly do you have in the loops that aren't working?

Only loop 5 is recieving a wet signal which is delay. I'm still getting a wet signal even when I turn of function switch 8 which controls my effects loop on my Mesa Dual rectifier. In the other loops and I have tried them all are reverb and chorus. When I put them in loops 1 to 4 in front of the amp they work fine.

Thank you for your paitience

Is the output of loop 5 connected to the input of loop 6? Is the amp's loop return connected to the output of loop 6? If so, what happens when you move the delay pedal to loop 6?

The out put of loop 5 is connected to the input of loop 6. I moved the delay over to loop 6 and it worked. I have the amps return going into the output of loop 6 and the send going into the input of loop 5.

Cheers

Also when I turn the wet control up on my rectifier I loose all volume when I have the loop on that isnt getting the wet signal.

Thanks
