both midi outs always active?

I am cruuently using midi cable from MMGT to RJM phantom power adapter, and from there to a midi solutions T8. T8 goes to the rest of my rack gear. Would the XLR out still be active?

I used to use XLR but switched to midi as I thought it may cure the Axe FX tuner never showing up on MMGT problem. It didn't. So, maybe I go back to XLR as they are more rugged etc.

Would I then be able to use the standard midi out to a splitter mounted on the pedalboard in cse I wanted to send clock to other devices or v drums etc?

Yes, the XLR out and MIDI out ports are wired in parallel.

The tuner still isn't working for you? Please let me know if you want to take another shot at debugging it. I thought I had all the Axe-Fx issues sorted out...
