Brother P-Touch labels

Hi. I'm considering getting a Brother P-Touch label maker to help remind me which power cables go to which pedal on my power supplies, and what functions are on other button pages on the surface of the PBC. Are the labels difficult to remove if I change my mind or change the functions?

Also, has anyone tried the Heat Shrink Cable label hack with the cheaper label maker?

Tons of people use those. The powder coating on the Masterminds works well for that. The labels stick well enough that they're not coming off by themselves, but you can easily take them off by lifting a corner with your fingernail and peeling them off.

Thanks for that. Is isopropyl alcohol applied with a cloth ok on the powder coating if any residue is left behind after peeling off the label?

Yes, that should do it. The alcohol doesn't seem to affect the powder coating.
