I just got a new Source Audio EQ2 pedal and placed it first in my chain. My guitar plugs directly into it. It’s extremely noisy, mostly when not playing. I replaced my boss tu2 tuner with this pedal. Much more noise. Would this have anything to do with the way I have buffering set up in my PBC 6x? Powering with Strymon Zuma. Love to be able to use this EQ, but can’t with this much white noise. Thanks.

It's almost certainly the pedal itself. Try it outside of the PBC and see if it's noisy on its own. Also try a different power supply.

Also, try the PBC without the pedal, just loop a jumper wire from loop send to loop return, just to have another data point.
