Cable advice

I have a Rack Gizmo & am looking at p12 of the manual where it states:

1. There is a mono to stereo converter cable between loops 6 and 7
2. there is a shorting plug (a plug with tip connected to ground) in the Return 5 jack

Asking if someone can explain all the wiring requirements to make these up?

1. How do i make a mono to stereo converter cable?? TS on 1 end & TRS on the other?? Do I solder the tip cable on the TS side to the ring & tip connectors on the TRS side??
2. the shorting plug is a plug with tip connected to ground; where is the ground on a TS plug & what do i do with the 'sleeve' connection?

Can i buy any of these from RJM??

Thanks in advance.

You're correct on the mono to stereo converter - TS on one end to TRS on the other, with tip and ring both connected to the wire that leads to the tip on the other side.

Sleeve is ground on a TS or TRS plug, Just add a little piece of wire connecting tip and sleeve/ground inside the connector housing.

We don't sell audio cables, but companies like Best-tronics (www.btpa.com) could make them for you.
