Hi everyone.
I've asked Ron what could be done but I thought I would open this up to everyone on here seeing if we can find a solution!
I have a Carr Slant 6V 2x12 combo amp. I'm planning on buying a PBC soon and want to be able to switch channels and turn on/off the boost. The amp's included footswitch uses a 5 pin MIDI/DIN cable, but the amp doesn't use MIDI to switch between channels or engage the boost on the dirty channel. Basically each pin in the cable will either engage the other channel, power the footswitch lights etc.
I've talked to Ron and Mike (Nice Rack Canada) and the general consensus is that either a custom junction box or cable with extra added diodes within the connector would have to be made.
I would love to be able to use the function switches on the PBC to do the switching (as nature intends lol). Does anyone have a similar issue and/or solution to this problem?
