Chase Bliss Warped Vinyl Preset Issue PBC/6X

Hi,

First time user here. I was able to connect/assign my Warped Vinyl Mk II to the PBC6X (device is "WarpedVinyl 2"), but the very next moment after sending a PC message to assign the WV it's midi channel, the PBC now uses Preset 1 as "ON" and Preset 2 as "OFF". I have checked both Button and Preset pages in the editor and I do not have any messages on those presets for any WV commands.

I've scoured this forum and the web but could not find the answer. What am I missing here?

Do you have an IA button that controls the Warped Vinyl's bypass state? If so, make sure that it has Send on Preset Change turned off.

Not for bypass state, just midi clock ignore. For kicks, I turned off Preset Change on both Preset 1 & 2, but it still is happening. Sending other bypass commands aren't working for other presets either.

Are you sure that you set the MIDI channel on the pedal correctly? It's a bit tricky to do, it's easy to get it to end up on another device's channel.

This was the same video I was watching to get it assigned the first time. I just tried it again and it appears to be working. I don't understand it! But I have much to learn. Thank you for your help!

Also what prests are you recalling? I've had a load of my CBA pedals be a pest if using patch 1 & 2 store positions as well (the ones accessible on the front). And I think patch 0 is "live knobs" preset. So since they have 122 positions I always make preset 1 send 121, preset 2 send 122, then preset 3 sends 3, 4 -> 4, etc normally after that. Since then they all seem fine.
