Ctl 1 out

Hi, I am trying to use the CTL 1 out as a footswitch that emulates a BOSS FS-5U. I have it working to a point. The issue I have is that when the PBC first powers up or when I change a patch I have to press the switch on the PBC twice and every other time it works with one press - like it should. I basically want it to act as a tap tempo control or for the stop/clear function of a BOSS looper. It all works as it should with the holding down of the switch clearing the looper for instance. I just can't figure out why it's not working correctly when I first power up the PBC or change patches. I have attached my settings.

Have you tried turning off the Invert setting on function switch 1 (in the Global tab)? That might be it.

That actually makes it worse. It causes the function to latch

Next thing to try is turn off Send on Preset Change and Update on Preset Change on the button.

Ok, keep send/update on preset change turned off, turn off Invert, but also reverse the values in the button action, so that it reads Audio / Fn Switch #1 off:ON on:OFF
