"Device CC +/-" IA button actions

How about IA button functions similar to Device PC + and Device PC - but for continuous CC messages? I would love the ability to implement two buttons to function as a digital expression pedal. I used to have a huge board with a volume and several expression pedals. I could set up a page on my GT /16 to control at least six parameters.
 
Yes please, that would really be a great improvement! It would also allow us to send bank increments (bank messages are MIDI CC) to any device, independently from the main presets system.
 
I have recently moved away from a rig that used "Soundsculpture Volcano" as a volume control. There Device PC +/- fits perfectly but...
Now I have replaced my tube rig and switched to Fractal Axe FX3.
There is no volume controlling block, in the AXE FX that listens to Device PC +/-.
Device CC +/- would be a much better choice.
