Trying to control a DA smart clock with the PBC. I'm wanting it to read my PBC tempo, then convert that to analog clicks to send out to my analog trem and delay. Issue is that the smart clock needs some sort of "midi start" message from the PBC to disable its own internal clock and send the taps (I think from what I read in the manual). I don't know how to send the simple Midi Start message to get it operating how I want it to. Anybody else doing this already that can help me out?

You could use a "Sysex" message (even though it's not really a Sysex). In the Sysex message list, create a message called Start. In the message body, put in "FA" (without the quotes).
Now, on an IA button, or in a preset's action list, add an action that is System / Sysex and the On Msg parameter should be the number of the Sysex message that you just created. That will send the start message to the smart clock.
