Hi Ron and RJM Forum, based on the need to rack my pedal board, I just picked up the RJM EFX Gizmo (purchased from Bryan over at Rig-Quest). I also am using a VL GCP as the midi controller. BTW, YouTube set up video is wonderful, and takes all the mystery (and frustration) out of the set up process.
I purchased the EFX Gizmo due to its pedal capacity (12 loops vs 8 in the RG16). My preference is to run the entire system by instant access with no presets. (I noted that "You enable GCX mode by holding the Loop 1 button on powerup, turning on Loop 9 and Loop 10, then pressing the Write button. This will enable GCX compatibility for all 12 loops.")
Is there an easy way of programming the GCP to access loops 9-12 in IA mode? I assume that this will require a bank change as the GCP only offers 8 IA switches at a time.
Or another possibility would be to use the preset buttons and have them set up to access loops 9-12 one at a time? (e.g. preset 1 - loop 9, preset 2 - loop 10, etc.)
thanks!
mike.
