Erratic MIDI behaviour with PBC and Source Audio Reflex

So today I finally got around to setting up my Source Audio Reflex to control my Strymon Mobius to get a wah sound going. The MIDI flow is Reflex into PBC into Quadra Thru, into Mobius. One of the other Quadra Thru outputs goes to a Strymon Timeline and then into the Reflex. When I set up the Mobius to listen to the Reflex, it's receiving a constantly moving signal. When it's set to wah, it sounds like it's moving the wah in a very quick pattern, and when it's set to other presets, it's rapidly changing the BPM setting. While troubleshooting, the PBC itself started rapidly cycling through different presets.

When I disconnect the Reflex from the PBC, everything calms down. When I remove the PBC from the MIDI signal path and connect the Reflex directly to the Mobius, everything works as expected. Does anyone have any idea what could be going on? A MIDI feedback loop somehow maybe?
