External switches finally available on our website

At long last, we're now selling two-button footswitches for the Mastermind GT and PBC. We've been promising them for ages, but have finally got ourselves set up to make them.

These switches are great because the LEDs can be controlled by the GT, so they can change state automatically when you change presets (if desired). Most amp style footswitches can't do that. Using this switch adds two buttons to your controller that can do anything the built-in buttons can do, the only exception being that the external switch only has a red LED indicator for on/off status.

are they silent switches like the ones on the GT?

Yes, they're the exact same switches as the current production GT switches. For a while, we were using very sensitive switches in the GT that barely need to be pressed to register. These are not them. They do need to be pressed down all the way, but are still silent.

Re: Ext switches

Just got two of your switches to move bank up, down, page/store, IA off the GT. Everything works except for IA. When I press IA the led comes on but the GT buttons do not change to IA state. When I press the other switches they work as expected but the led does not light. What to do?

If you're trying to control the same function with an internal switch and an external switch, make sure that "IA Link" is turned on in the settings for both switches. That will make one switch turn on the other.
