Function switch jack for expression pedal?

I can't remember if its possible to use one of the function jacks (1/2 or 3/4) with an expression pedal. I'm wanting to use 2 expression pedals with my rig. Obviously I'll use the expression jack for one of them but where can I plug in the other?

Unfortunately, the external switch inputs can't be used as expression pedal inputs.

You could try one of these:

and plug it into the PBC's MIDI input. Then, turn on MIDI Merge in the PBC. It won't be as flexible as the PBC's expression pedal, but it will work as a fixed expression pedal. The PBC will forward the pedal data to the MIDI devices down the chain.

Thanks for the response! That’s what I thought. I’m wanting to control a strymon timeline and big sky so I’ll keep it simple and just hook up the expression pedal directly to either one.
