However, I was wondering - did you consider adding the sort of facilities that thegigrig have in their g2 unit for pre and post gain and if so what was the reasoning for not doing so?
We have not included that because any VCA circuit will alter tone in one way or another. We try to keep active circuits out of the signal path as much as possible, except where necessary (buffer & mixer being the exceptions).
