GT 10/16/22 button área split to control two or more devices (w/o changing the device)

Hi!, I am planning to buy a GT XX, and I have a question:


Is it possible to split the buttons of the GT XX - see attached picture - to control two (or more) devices at the same time w/o changing from device1 to device 2?


I think it is possible if I assign a channel to each device (i.e channel 1 for device 1, ch 2 for device 2) and each button group sends also the channel.


Configuration: Eventide H9000 for voice effects (ch1) and Axe FX III for guitar (ch2) connected through MIDI Thru

Yes. And your thinking is correct. When you configure the switch you have the ability to set the actions on swith press on a per-device basis. You can even have some switches control both devices.
