GT22 with Boss GT-1000CORE

Hi guys as my Axe 3 is going for repair i have realized that i need a backupplan
thinking of getting the Boss GT-1000CORE and connect it with my gt22
have anyone tryed that is it possible to use the same way as with the axe

i mainly use 5 presets with stomps

Mate you can do nearly anything with these pedals, I would think it would handle it no worries at all. I have controlled many different things, from amps like the Axe FX III and a BOSS GT PRO, to the computer running Cakewalk by BandLab, to the Behringer XR18 for live PA duties...
