Help needed with keeping effects on across multiple presets

Hi there
I've tried unsuccessfully to program the PBC10 so that my fuzz pedal stays on when I change between presets. I've tried turning off "send on preset change" and "update state on preset change" in the button commands but it doesn't seem to work for me.

What am I doing wrong?

Appreciate any help. I've tried searching but to no avail. Thank you.
 
Do you have the loop turned on for each preset that you're changing to? If you want it to default to on for every preset, go to the Audio tab and turn it on there (but don't enable the lock unless you want it to always stay on and not be able to turn it off at all).
 
If you don't want the fuzz to be affected by preset changes at all, the setting you're looking for is independent loops. In the Audio tab, click the loop's lock icon a couple of times until it turns into an "I". The loop will still respond to button presses, but will no longer automatically change when you change presets.
