How to deal with ground loop when routing to amp effect loop

I would really appreciate it if someone could give me some advice here. I routed the last four loops in the PBC to the effects loop of my amp. This created a very loud hum which I'm assuming is due to a ground loop. How do I get rid of the hum? Should I cut the wire of the sleeve of both of the cables going to and from the amps effect loop? This must be a very common problem, how do the pros deal with this situation.

The first thing I'd do is use Output B to go to the amp's loop return and turn on the isolation transformer for the output. That may be enough. If not, you can also use a cable with the ground disconnected at one end to connect the amp's loop send to In 7-10. That should do it.

Thank you for the reply. I'll give that a try and report back.
