IA and Preset button with same CC# action

Hello! Can an IA button have the same CC# action as a separate Preset button in terms of can the IA button override the state of the Preset button with the same CC# action? If so is there anything required to make it work properly? Thanks!!

You can have the same action on multiple buttons, no problem there. As for overriding, that depends on a few things. Are you talking about the behavior of both buttons when you change presets? If so, I recommend that only one of the buttons has Send on Preset Change turned on - that's one way to avoid the conflict. Or turn on IA Link on both buttons so that the two buttons remain in sync with each other so they never conflict.
