IA button - flash with tempo

Hi, reaching out for a bit of advice from this sage community ...!

I can't seem to get an IA button flashing in time with current system tempo - if I tick the relevant box, nothing seems to happen. The button displays the current song tempo fine, and I've set up a tap tempo (momentary CC) to control my H90 which works fine as well, but I can't get the flashing feature working.

Any suggestions ...? I'm sure it's one of those daft things that's staring me in the face and I just can't see what I've done wrong for wont of looking.

Make sure the button's on color and off color are set to different colors - if they're the same, it won't change color. Also, turn on Update on Preset Change - it's a poorly documented setting that affects whether the button's flashing is controlled internally or controlled by an external device.
