Kemper Player USB Midi

Hello... is it possible to control the Kemper Player via USB directly from the Mastermind LT's USB-A connection to the Kemper's USB-A or will I need a USB Host for this function? In this case, would a Din5/USB cable (like Roland's for example) work correctly?

You would need a USB Host adapter to connect it. A normal MIDI interface like the one you show above only works for devices that have standard MIDI ports.

So it doesn't work in reverse, even though it's bidirectional?... the Din5 side would go in the Mastermind and the USB side in the kemper...

It depends on whether the Kemper itself has USB MIDI host support. I don't know if it does, or if the USB A port is only for a thumb drive.

According to the kemper player manual it works... or am I wrong? In this way, would it be possible to control the Midi via Mastermind LT with the specified cable?

I saw somebody posting on Facebook that they had used an adapter like that with Kemper Player, ie DIN connected to the MIDI controller and USB connected to the Kemper.

the fore works , the ROLAND does Not work for some reason .
