Master IA Off Switch

Hello all, I've searched the forums unsuccessfully for the answer to this question, and I don't think it was addressed in any of the RJM Mastermind videos on Youtube. Is it possible to set up a master IA "off" switch? For example, I may turn on an IA button from page one (an overdrive for example), and another from page three (a chorus). Instead of scrolling through the pages to turn off both IA's, I would set up a global switch that is available from every page that would turn every "on" IA to an "off" state. I don't want to set this up as a group because I may actually want more than one IA button on at a time. Thanks for your help.

If you're not using Set IA and IA IDs on those buttons already, you could use them for this purpose. Set the IA ID of all buttons to the same, then add another IA that has a System / Set IA action that shuts them all off.

When using Set IA, a value of 0 means "turn off" and a value of 127 means "turn on". The actual values on the buttons you're controlling don't matter.

Ok, I don't know what happened, but ever since I attempted to add this button, it has completely messed up my setup. I can no longer change amp channels or add effects from one of my processors. Now some of my pedals in my Effects Gizmo turn on the effect and change the amp channel, even though there is no programming in the button related to the amp. Every time I return to the clean channel, it turns on loop 9 on my Effects Gizmo and loads up preset 1 on my effects processor. Please help, my GT is now completely useless. I have already tried updating software, un-updating software, doing a factory reset, creating an entirely brand new pedalboard file without even adding the effects processor and it still somehow turns it on, my GT cannot load software files from my flash drive.

One thing to look for right away is to make sure that the new button does not have Send on Preset Change turned on. You don't want that button triggering automatically.

Ok, please re-upload your file. The one that's up there is incomplete.
Ok, here's the updated file. If it helps, my signal chain and components are as follows: guitar into front of Effects Gizmo, Effects Gizmo Loops 1-7 are pedals. Loop 9 is a Roland RSP-550, which is inserted into the effects loop of a Mesa Road King II and run into a Mini Line Mixer and the amplifier is controlled with a Mini Amp Gizmo via the correct RJM cable for the RKII. MMGT16 Midi Out runs into the Effects Gizmo and is powered via phantom power. Pedals/Mini Amp Gizmo/Mini Line Mixer are powered by a Voodoo Labs PP2+, and all of this is powered by a Furman P1800AR.

The GT no longer switches the channels on the Mini Amp Gizmo, but if I manually push the buttons on the Mini Amp Gizmo, it changes the correct corresponding channel on the amplifier. Effects Gizmo is Midi channel 1. The Mini Amp Gizmo is set to Midi Channel 2 by lighting LED 1 on the strip. The Roland is Midi channel 3. This setup was all working perfectly until I attempted to add this Set IA button, and now nothing is working correctly. For example, hitting the 4 global amp channel buttons on the GT simply keeps the amp on the clean channel. Turning on the Trem loop turns on the Trem AND channel 2 of the amp. Turning off the Trem turns off the tremolo but keeps the amp on Channel 2. Turning on the Klon turns on the Klon AND channel 4 of the amp. If I cycle through all 3 of my button pages just hitting random IA buttons until something happens, it will recall the clean channel 1 as well as preset 1 on the Roland, which is not even a preset that I use.

Thanks so much for the help, I am at my wits end.

Your settings file looks ok, but your Mini Amp Gizmo settings might not be. To match your GT settings, it should be set to channel 2, CCs 88-95. Enter setup mode by holding the 1 button as you power up the Gizmo. Hold about 3 seconds, until the LEDs flash, then release. Make sure that switch 1 and switch 5 are lit, and the other switches are not. Press Write when done.
