MIDI 7 pin cable

Here is an easy one to answer!

I was offered a used GCP a few weeks back, it was cheap, in nice condition, and too good to pass up. Now I need a 7 pin MIDI cable to power it.
I have a sourced pair of 7 pin DIN plugs (a not so minor achievement in my city). I have also found some 6 core + shield cable (more cores cannot be had for love nor money).

Now, how do I solder this up? I understand the 1-1, 2-2, principal with MIDI cables and have been doing some reading to fill in the gaps. The problem here is that Mr Google is full of advice, not all of it is good... But from what I have read I should/could solder the plugs this way:

5,4 for MIDI data,
2 for shield?
and 6,7 for phantom power

Is this right?
