Midi cable for Mini Amp gizmo

Hi;
I'm in the process of purchasing a standard midi cable for my soon to arrive mini amp gizmo and i've noticed some bad reviews on some 5 pin cables claiming they really utilize 3 pins. Sound familiar ??? Anyway, can someone recommend a standard 5 pin cable that they are certain works with the mini amp gizmo ?

A standard MIDI cable only needs three pins connected. There's only a hot, a cold and a ground connector. You only need a 5 wire cable if you're running power down the other two (for something like the GCX > Ground Control Pro). Standard 3-pin wired MIDI cables work fine for the RJM stuff as long as you're not using phantom power (which you need the 7-pin cables for anyway)
