Mini AG, providence PEC2/Timeline

Hello everybody,

I'm about to built a pedalboard using a Providence PEC2 a strymon Timeline and a mini amp gizmo,

What makes me think is:
MIDI program change and control change numbers cannot be simultaneously transmitted from the MIDI OUT connector.
in PEC2's manual.

Does it mean it can't control channel with mini amp and preset on the strymon at the same time?

thanks,

The MAG responds to Program Change messages as well as Control Change ones... you'll just have to store the settings on the MAG, not on the Providence, per preset.

thank you for the fast answer. so there's no problem with using the 3 of them but will there be less storage possibility because of having to store in the MAG?

The MAG can store 128 presets... technically 256 if the Providence can send out bank change messages... so I'd think you'd be OK. Depending on how many presets you want to create! I've never yet come across a practical need for more than 60 or so presets :)
