Mini Effects Gizmo + Mini Line Mixer (Wiring Example #3)

Hey guys,

wiring example #3 shows a parallel effects setup using the aforementioned devices. How are these effects running in parallel? Does the Mini Effects Gizmo split the signal and send it to S3, S4, S5, and CS Out (dry signal) at the same time? Or am I getting the parallel part of this wrong, and the effects connected in loop 3, 4, and 5 are not actually running at the same time in parallel, but rather exclusively with trails.

If you don't plug anything into a loop return jack, the loop becomes kind of a prograammable splitter - the signal coming out of loop 2 goes to the send of loops 3, 4 and 5 (also the main output). This is what makes the effects parallel.
