Hi would anyone know if I can use the rjm pbc6x to change the new Mxr x100 pedal from clean to dirty sound instead of using the Mxr split and tap switch ? Thanks Darren

I haven't tried it myself, but it looks like the Ctrl jack is connected to the mode switch, which would mean that each press would move it to the next mode. As long as you're only switching between two modes, you might be able to have a button press on the PBC send a certain number of taps to the Ctrl jack, but that would take some experimentation to see if it would work reliably.

I'm setting up a new PBC6X/MEGX Rig and have one of these X100 pedals.

The pedal has 4 channel modes, BLUE/GREEN/YELLOW/RED.

I have FN1 on the PBC6X default to BLUE, when it switches ON it goes to GREEN. It's a momentary switch, and each press cycles through the channels.

@rjmmusic is it possible to have it cycle through two more colors to represent the other 2 channels before it cycles back to BLUE?

Thanks for your help!

Probably... Use an IA Cycle button with actions like this:

Audio / FnSwitch off:OFF on:ON
System / Step
Audio / FnSwitch off:OFF on:ON
System / Step
Audio / FnSwitch off:OFF on:ON
System / Step
Audio / FnSwitch off:OFF on:ON

And set the cycle step names and colors to match the pedal.

Awesome! I will give this a shot and report back.

Thanks so much for your reply!

Just wanted to let you know that I was finally able to get this to work after some fiddling with the different settings. After programming, it will skip the first button push, but once you have the units synced it works flawlessly and it works perfect from the first press upon startup. I'm attaching screenshots in case that's helpful for anyone else.

I had to invert the order of the presses to get it to work properly. I imagine checking the INV box on the globals page might accomplish the same thing. Have not tried it yet though.
