not sure what the issue is so I have attached 2 x videos showing the problem.

Video 1 - GT22 connected to the phantom power box with the 7 pin cable: powers up for about 1 sec, then nothing!!

Video 2 - GR22 connected to the AC adapter: powers up & sends midi messages over the 7 pin cable

Am i missing something here? The only difference between the 2 videos is the Phantom power box.
Is it possible the midi cable is wired incorrectly for phantom power to the GT22?

Hi guys. This order was fulfilled by yourselves approximately 7 days ago now - included a GT22, PPAP 2 DIN and a 30 foot 7 pin midi cable.
Was sent to Deluxe Guitars in Australia.
Hope that helps

Have you checked the MIDI connectivity? If you plug the power supply into the GT, and connect up all the MIDI cables, does it control your device?

Yes. As video 2 states above: GT22 connected to the power adapter powers up & sends midi messages over the same 7 pin midi cable

Does it work if you connect the GT to phantom power box, phantom power box to Axe-Fx, and power the GT directly with its power supply? I'm trying to identify whether the problem is in the cable or phantom power box.

Gotcha. Yes that does work & sends midi to the Axe Fx correctly.

Hi. Yes. Bi direction is working.
I’ve popped into Deluxe & we tried a Mini Amp Gizmo & different 20 ft midi cable + phantom power the GT = same issue occurs & GT fails to power up.
I’ve left the unit at the store & Deluxe Guitars will be in touch

Ok, I've ben in touch with Deluxe and we'll get it fixed. I apologize for the trouble, not sure how it happened...

FYI guys. Deluxe performed the "fix" however unfortunately the 'fix' has not resolved the problem. This time, the unit powered up via phantom power & after several pushes of the preset buttons, it shorted out. Same as before.

I unplugged the unit & then powered up again via phantom power - this time I pressed some buttons for a minute & then after 60 seconds of doing nothing (not pressing buttons) it went crazy & all screens flashed. The unit had a complete mental freakout. Something has gone terribly wrong with this unit, Im afraid. I'll ask Deluxe to be in touch.
