Newbie: Presets and IA Mode

Hi all - just got my GT10 about a month ago. I'm working on my configuration and I'm seeking some advice about how to store on-the-fly changes. I've watched the first tip video and have gone through the manual, but I need to confirm if there are other ways of accomplishing this.

Process A
  1. Presets and IA buttons available in normal mode
  2. Select Preset
  3. Select whatever loops or MIDI changes to pedals
  4. Use IA Store button to save into preset

Process B
  1. Presets available in normal mode
  2. Select a preset
  3. Click IA button
  4. Select loops and MIDI changes to pedals
  5. Exit IA mode
  6. Use IA store to save changes to the preset

Thanks in advance.

You can use either mode interchangeably, and really, they're the same thing anyway. IA Store stores the current state of all IA buttons, whether you can see them or not.

That's the only way to store IA states on the controller itself. However you can use the editor software's Presets tab to change the on/off states of IA buttons as well.
