I plan to use the PBC/10 to control an Alexander Rewind pedal which has a TRS MIDI jack. I don't have the pedal yet, but my plan is to connect the pedal directly to the PBC using a TRS MIDI cable.
The following blurb appears in the Rewind manual when discussing connecting the Rewind via a passive TRS MIDI cable:
"We recommend the Disaster Area 5P-TRS PRO but most TRS type-A cables should work so long as pin 2 is earthed at the MIDI controller output. Please note that some MIDI controllers do not support the use of a passive MIDI to TRS cable, consult your controller manufacturer."
Does the PBC/10 MIDI Out support the use of a passive MIDI to TRS cable?
