PBC/10 Midi CC numbers > 127 for FM3

Sorry if I'm missing something but the CC bypass numbers for about 20 FM3 blocks are greater than 127. How does this work please?

I am attempting to input the data into the FM3 to set up the bypass switches.

Thank you.

We use some trickery behind the scenes. The way we actually communicate with the Axe-Fx III / FM3 / FM9 uses their proprietary sysex protocol. I created what are effectively fake CCs that the GT converts to sysex messages before sending. You shouldn't assign CCs for any effect blocks on the FM3. Just use the CCs the GT recommends and it'll handle the rest. The only exception is external controllers - those need to be assigned CC numbers, typically starting with CC#11 for Ext Ctrl 1.

Thank you - I had wondered whether it was Sysex magic - very clever! I will proceed as you advise - makes things a lot easier.
