PBC editor 2.1 problem converting 2.02 config

Just downloaded the new editor and went to open my old config. it asked to convert to the current version. but when it opened it was not the same config. most buttons were missing their name or only a few characters from the name showed up. and most buttons were set to off with none of the functionality i had programmed. anyone else seen this. This on a PC

I am experiencing the same behavior. I can't read what the buttons are supposed to be doing.
It seems to be pulling characters from preset names, but very poorly.

It displays fine until I hit read from device or open a saved file (which requires conversion).

I tried several times with creating a new file to loading from thumb drive. Every time I loaded a file I created it would lock up no buttons would work and the function bank up and bank down would be lit red blue and green and nothing would do anything. I went back to 2.02 and editor 2.01
