PBC Midi Commands Control Logic Pro X?

Is it possible to use the midi control of the PBC to control Logic Pro X - for example transport controls or preset/effects/instrument/track selection?

Be nice while tracking with my pedalboard to easily record with my feet without having to be at my desktop or my hands leave guitar.
 
I bet you can -- you try just putting your computer in the MIDI loop and assigning it as a device with a number? I think there's a chance it would be that easy.
 
yet to install - will experiment. I am thinking that with logic I can do midi learn and simply map PBC button push to a Logic parameter or I could use Logic's controller assisnments and assign a DAW command to one of the PBC midi signal.
