PBC6X Midi Connection Question

Hi there! I have a PBC6X and have a midi connection question.

I plan on connecting a Strymon Timeline and a Jackson Audio Bloom via MIDI to the PBC. I have a custom MIDI y-cable already that I had to use with the Timeline. My question is how I can connect the Jackson Bloom since it's MIDI via 1/4" TRS connection. Is it possible to even connect these two without an additional device?

You can create a custom 5-pin-to-TRS cable (or have one made) if you don’t want to buy a special junction/conversion box for just one pedal. I made one for my JA Bloom. It was a bit tricky to make sure I connected the right pins to ring and tip (all pedal brands seem to do it differently), but once I got it right it has been working great.

If you buy custom cables for this, keep in mind that once you get 2 cables you’re already in the range of what a midi converter box might cost.
