Possible to enable a loop only when a button is actively pressed down?

Hypothetical scenario:

• Loops 1 (compressor), 4 (morning glory) and 10 (reverb) are on with button 4
• Would love to be able to press button 5 and enable loop 9 (delay) only while button is pressed (say at end of a song to make last note repeat)
• While pressing button 5, button 4 is still active
• Release button 5, trails of delay are still going and button 4 never changed state

Is it possible to program button 5 to do this?

Yes, set up an IA button that controls loop 9, and turn on the Momentary checkbox for the button (in the editor software), that's all that's needed.

Does it have to be on a page, not a song? I was trying to set it as a preset on only one song. Having a hard time figuring that out.

You can't set up presets to be momentary, only IA buttons can be momentary - you'll need to set up a specific button that controls loop 9 (only) and set it to be momentary.
