Powering GT22

I have been using my GT22 with my Axe FXIII and it has been working very well. I purchased the power adapter through midi box to power the GT22 along the single midi cable.

I plan to switch to the Axe FX FC to control the Axe FXIII only.

I will then use the GT as a separate midi controller to control Ableton with my laptop. Frankly the GT22 is probably overkill for this so I will be swapping the GT22 for either a GT10 or most likely a GT16.

My question is how do I go about powering the GT if I am no longer controlling the Axe Fx? Can I still use the power midi box converter box with the laptop midi interface?

You can continue to use the phantom power box, or you can plug the AC adapter directly into the GT.
