Probably a stupid question- page 1 buttons not doing anything

Hello. I got my pbc6x a few weeks ago and love it. I started getting the hang of it but had a couple weeks where I didn’t get to use it and I forget most of everything haha.
many question is, when I turn it on and it starts on page 1, for some reason on the function button does anything. It switches pages and goes to turner if I hold it. But the bank and preset buttons don’t do anything. All the buttons on my other pages are working fine. Did I miss something? Is it possible I have only one song and one preset enabled somehow and that’s why it won’t switch?

A couple of possibilities are:

1). You have an empty setlist or song selected, as you suggest. If you have a setlist selected, try setting Setlist to None and see if that helps.

or

2). You have Local Page turned on for your first preset, but the local page has no buttons defined. Go through your presets and turn off the Local Page checkbox for each preset.
 
No problem, that's an easy to miss setting with larger consequences than you'd expect to have.
