Problem with stereo loop

Hi,

When I use the loop 7 and the loop 8, (they can be controlled by the CC 55), the loop don't turns on, they don't repond to cc 55.
Can you help me please.
 
switch off the RG16 and whilst powering up hold down audio loop 1 button to enter set-up mode keep button held down until lights flash

once in setup mode turn off Function switch 7 (which will be illuminated) then press write.

this should re-enable cc mode
 
Thanks for your anwser, but all other cc are working, 80 to 87, but 52 to 55 not.
PS: soorry for my bad english.
 
I test your tip, in the setup mode, only function loop 3 was on, the fonction loop 7 was allready off. I don't understand. In the manual, page 8they explain for the pairing of audio loops, but cc 52 to 55 don't respond for me, but all others works. weird. :cry:
 
Some news, i send the cc 55 nothing appen and when I send an other cc after it works, but I have the pairing audio loop 7 and 8, and an other audio loop, that I don't want. I think my RG-16 have some trouble. What can I do?
 
I have it since december 2008. If you want I can send you the serial number to be sure of is date of production.

That's very strange - according to your serial number, you should definitely have the latest firmware. I tried it on an Effect Gizmo from the same manufacturing batch, and it works for me.

When you send CC#55, are you also sending it with a value greater than or equal to 64? Per the MIDI spec, values 0 to 63 are "off" and values 64 to 127 are "on"

If you have a PC or Mac with MIDI interface, I can tell you a Sysex command you can send to the Effect Gizmo to get it to report its firmware version.

I send a value of 127 for "on" and 0 for "off".
And yes, I have got and audio/midi interface for my pc.
But it's not an effect gizmo but a RG-16.
 
try sending cc55 from your pc via the audio midi interface to the rg16

I have seen weird things like certain cc messages and not all fail due to a bad switch in the foot controller or due to a poor midi cable

I don't think it is that all other cc's work, but all cc's from 52 to 55, doesn't work well. I say that because I press the switch, nothing happen and when I press any other cc to midi channel 1 (RG-16) the stereo loop goes on. An it's the same to desactivate it.
 
Ok it's done, I've been fix the problem. I've made an other update on the rg-16 and it was ok. strange on the manual and with the date I bouth it, it was allready in v1.2.
But it's great now, I have got a nice Wet/Dry/Wet system. :mrgreen: :twisted:
