PSA - Make sure those nuts on the foot switches stay nice and snug.

Because I wasn't really paying attention to that and my button number 2 fell down into the LT chasis last night during practice. It was easy enough to fix but I did have to open up the case and pull the main board out in order to get to it. Several of the other switches needed a little snugging up too.

Sorry about that... We try to tighten those up as much as possible before leaving the shop. Removing the circuit board, and using one hex socket on the inside and one on the outside is the best way we've found to tighten.

I noticed there's two nuts along with the star washer on the underside of the switch, which only leaves a few threads up top for the top nut to thread onto. If I removed one of those two nuts so there's a little more thread up above, would the switch be too high to reliably activate the surface mount switch underneath?

That's why the second nut is there, to lower the spring enough that it can touch the switch reliably.

I'll look into this, maybe we can use a thinner washer to do the job.
