Question about gear

Hi everyone. I’m new to RJM, thanks for your patience. I’m planning my rig now. I have a mesa boogie mark 7 which is midi capable. My idea for my rig is to get the gt16 as my main controller and use a axe effects 3 for effects only. So on the floor I would have my RJM and one expression pedal. So than I could use my computer to set it all up. Obviously I will have a learning curve to go through, but this would work right? If so this would be a killer rig. I like the idea of being able to do all the setup on my laptop.

Yes, for sure, since both the Mark 7 and the Axe-Fx are MIDI capable, the GT will work will with them. You only need a few MIDI cables to connect them.
 
I use at MMGT controller with an AxeFX III. I can tell you from years of experience with this combo that it's pretty straight-forward to set up and incredibly powerful. Love it!
