RG-16 vs. EffectGizmo

I want to add two Loop Systems to my Rig (one couldn't cover my needs ;) )
So one will be the EffectGizmo for the 19" stuff, because of its Stereo option. But I don't know which one to get for the pedals, The RG or the EG? But I think the EG has a slight dvantage of its Click Stopper circuit and of its Lift and Ground right?

The more recent RG-16s have the ground lift switch on them as well... not the click stopper though.

As I see it (I have both), the main reason for going for the RG-16 over the Effect Gizmo is if you want the function switches. If you're not using multi-channel amps or can get by with just one or two function switches from 1/4" jacks, go with the Effect Gizmo. Both are great :)

Yes, more recent RG-16s have a ground lift switch, although it's internal - you have to open the lid to get at it. (I know, I'll fix that sometime!)

Martin is right, the reason you'd want an RG-16 is for the function switch side. If you don't need to control channel switching, you're better off with another Effect Gizmo.

Hi, I am considering the RG16 due to the function side as well. However I use Diezel amps exclusively - Herbert and VH4 are midi already.
I did not see the Diezel amps as compatible with the RG16. Is there a cable or am I limited to the EG? (i know that the mini amp gizmo does work with the Einstein).
thank you!
mike.
