Setting Multibox to Midi TRS type B

Hi,

I've recently purchased a Multibox. Firstly, the shipping was so fast, the instructions are clear and the sticker with the pin outs in the casing is a brilliant idea so thank you for a great product.

I'm trying to use the multibox with the Lehle 3@1. The manual says it requires Midi TRS type B where the tip is pin 4, ring is pin 5 and sleeve is pin 2. Is this possible with the multibox or should I continue with the 5 pin din to TRS that I have?

It's possible, but you need a jumper wire to connect two non-neighboring pins instead of the included jumper blocks. We don't include the wire because I haven't yet found a reasonably priced source for them in bulk, and type B MIDI is pretty rare compared to type A.

Set one normal jumper using the "Ring Active" setting, then connect the outermost 2 pins with the wire.MTB1JumperWire.jpegMTB1JumperWire.jpeg
